A value becomes useful when it changes a choice. “Move fast” is not yet guidance; it leaves speed, quality, reversibility, and ownership unresolved.
A decision principle names the tension and tells someone what to optimize when two good things compete. A stronger version might read: move quickly on reversible decisions; slow down when customer trust is difficult to recover.
Test a principle against real decisions from the last quarter. If reasonable people still reach opposite conclusions without explaining why, the rule needs more precision.
